About Johnny

Using 1980's 35mm film cameras, my aim is to capture the interesting details of everyday life. I can often be found scouring the North East of England for despair and decay that can be turned into objects of beauty.

I find the effects of the elements on man made structures and objects particularly fascinating.

All images are scanned directly from the film negative with no additional editing or jigging about involved.
